Roberto Burle Marx
Despite being built after Roberto Burle Marx's death, I think his influence is apparent in the design of this section of the garden at Montero. I find the flowing water features to add a peaceful dynamism to the landscape which is complemented by the simplicity of the bridge and path which travels over the water. The planting gives the impression of a tropical paradise, sheltered from the outside world and thriving with life.
